Trade in your old iPhones for the new iPhone 5!

Were you glued to your laptop last week? I was. I wanted to rejoice with the rest of the world the birth of the brand new iPhone 5. Are you going to get it? Did you pre-order?

Either way, the question always comes up of “What do I do with my old iPhone?”

Here in my home, we are iPhone addicts. I became part of the happy club back in 2009. My son and husband, in 2010. I have the 4s and my husband and son have the iPhone 4. What we do in our family is rotate the phones. I am the one who gets the new one (yes, I am spoiled by my husband) and then I pass down my phone. We did that with the iPhone 3 Gs and so on.

We will do the same this time. Once I get the iPhone 5, I will pass my 4s to my husband or son and then their phone will get the phone service shut down and will act as a iPod Touch. This will be passed down to my 7 year old.

See, this system works for us. I expect it to work for a while at least. But if you are looking to get rid of your iPhone but don’t know if you are going to sell it, RadioShack has a great program that will help you, not only get rid of your iPhone without any hassle, but it will also help you towards the cost of the new iPhone 5 that you are going to purchase!

By using RadioShack’s “Trade and Save” program your phone can qualify for the following trade-in values:

$115 value applies to trade-in of iPhone 4 8GB;

$350 value applies to trade-in of iPhone 4S 64GB AT&T only

Value for other models will vary. Appraised value will be given as a store credit, which may be applied instantly to your purchase.
