Get “UNREAL” with your favorite dulces! {Giveaway}

Is there a certain time of the day or week that your body hits a limit and it just craves candy?  Chocolate, in my case, is what I reach for first.  I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one, right?

UNREAL has UNJUNKED our favorite candies because let’s be honest here, all the dulces that we eat in delight are well… not very good for us. Take it from the founders of UNREAL.  A 13 year old was complaining to his dad about why he couldn’t have his halloween candy.  Oh boy, have I had this conversation before.  As a matter of fact, it’s about to happen again next month!

Nicky did some research online (to prove to his dad that candy isn’t so bad).  He discovered that his dad was right (for once).  It’s not that Nicky thought candy was healthy.  It’s that he didn’t know how bad it really was. What Nicky learned was that the worst parts of candy (like hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives) aren’t there to make it taste good.  They’re there to make it cheaper to produce.  Nicky had a hunch that without the junk, candy could taste better. With the help of his older brother Kris, and his dad, they set out to prove it. -unreal.com

This kid has a good cabeza on his shoulders.  I, on the other hand, had a little doubt about the taste.  You mess with my candy and try to make it healthy, I know something has got to give. I had the chance to taste the following candy:

• UNREAL Chocolate Caramel Nougat Bar
• UNREAL Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar
• UNREAL Peanut Butter Cups
• UNREAL Candy Coated Chocolates
• UNREAL Candy Coated Chocolates with Peanuts

Well, let me correct myself.  My kids and husband got to eat the candy. I was only able to eat “5″ UNREAL Candy Coated Chocolates with Peanuts. Grrrr!  They got to the loot before I could even take a picture! If I didn’t know that it was candy that I was to review, I wouldn’t have known.  Yes, they tasted the just like *&*’s!  JUST AS GOOD!
