5-time Olympic medalist Nastia Liukin and the Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll get down to the basics! {Giveaway}
How many of you are keeping tabs on the Olympics? The USA teams are doing fantastic, don’t you think? As a spectator, my heart fills with pride with any winner. Everyone should be celebrated as being the best of the best.
It gives me great pleasure to announce to you that five-time Olympic medalist and role model, Nastia Liukin, is teaming up with Fisher-Price, to help introduce the new, interactive Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll to all the little girls who aspire to be a gymnast.

A little story, if you will. I was about my daughter’s age, 5-7 years old when I was watching the Olympics and out came Mary Lou Retton. Ugh, I was head over heels in love with her. I practiced my cartwheels and my wobbly handstands and dreamed that I was with Mary Lou on the floor. I watcher her movie a billion times (yes, a billion) perfecting my moves, just like she did. Then my over protective mom came in and popped my little bubble with some nonsense about my heart conditions and not being able to keep up with the other girls.
Sigh.
Now that I have a little one of my own, I am sad to say that she is a little more on the tomboyish side and has some interest in gymnastics but her twists and turns look more like ninja moves than a graceful flower. Oh well.

As a Fisher-Price Play Ambassador, I have the privilege to introduce you to the brand new Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll. First let me say that this doll is AMAZING! I was sitting with my jaw on the ground at the capability of this doll. Fisher-Price has knocked this out of the park. My daughter eyes grew bigger and bigger as Dora did the splits, handstands and back-bends. Dora performs two gymnastics routines and features seven unique moves. Fantastic Gymnastics Dora also features more than 40 phrases in English and Spanish and a special song celebrating teamwork.

Oh, to be young and look good in a leotard.
Check out the video featuring Nastia Liukin, Fantastic Gymnastics Dora and several aspiring young gymnasts:
