Add a little kick Cherry Vanilla or Paradise Mango to your Pepsi for a cool summer!

Today and tomorrow, we are expecting hot temps with some lovely humidity mixed in.  Although we’ve been spending a lot of times out doors, once the temperature is overwhelming for me, I hide in the coolness of my room. Don’t we all?

Still, the time spent outdoors is time well spent with familia and friends.  Picnics, carne azadas and parties are best when the food is great and the drinks are refreshing.  I have to admit something, though… there’s nothing better than a cold, crisp Pepsi on a hot day.  Together with some rice and beans and a juice piece of carne azada, there is nothing better to compliment that delicious plate. Well, maybe a nice roasted jalapeño.

Pepsi NEXT has stepped up their game with new flavors, just in time for summer: Pepsi NEXT Cherry Vanilla and Paradise Mango.

I personally love the Pepsi Cherry flavor.  Whenever there is a chance for me to drink it (without sharing with my husband) I gulp it down fast so no one asks for a sip.  So, I was pleasantly surprised that the new flavor now included vanilla.

The drink is now sweet and sort of creamy.  The vanilla is not overwhelming and it does compliment the drink well.

The Pepsi NEXT Paradise Mango is rather interesting.  Mango and Pepsi. Pepsi and Mango.  It’s not bad but maybe it’s just not for me.  The kids liked it.  My teenager raved about it.  I actually had to buy some more,  just for him.  Isn’t that funny?  There are some products that you can be fine with and occasionally drink while others go crazy and have a completely different opinion than your own.   That’s a teenager for you!
