Pon Huggies a Prueba/Put Huggies to the test

To me, there is nothing sweeter than a baby in wearing nothing but diapers.  When my kids were still in diapers,  during this time of the year, they would only be diapers.  Last week, I was looking through some pictures of the kids when they were babies.  In reference to the little ones, I can’t believe I had two kids in diapers at the same time.  How insane was that? Looking back now,  totally insane.

Here are my 3 tips on how I tackled parenting’s messes and stresses with a 21 month old and a newborn- both in diapers.

  1. You gotta look at the brighter side of life with diapers-  Life moves in the speed of light when you go to change a diaper and you realize… you have no more diapers.  It’s a mandatory trip to the grocery store. Poopy diaper and all!  And you have to hurry antes de que se rosan!   And don’t tell your mom because you’ll NEVER hear the end of it.
  2. Scout’s honor: Be prepared!-  I would leave diapers everywhere.  Not soiled ones, clean and ready to use diapers.  Of course you have your stash in the diaper bag but what about a stash in the cars? Strollers? Abuelita’s house?  Don’t buy a bag/box of diapers for grandma’s house.  I suggest you put 3 or 4 in a baggie and leave them in their respective places.  Trust me when I say… YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED THEM.
  3. The box of wipes is not to be left unattended-  You know the one thing about kids that surprised me the most was that how amazingly fast they are.  My daughter go a hold of the box of wipes TWICE and emptied the box (one wipe at a time) while I went looking for a diaper.  Don’t believe me? Look:

Ah, kids.  Gotta love them and their messes.  Of course at the time of the stresses it’s not all fun and games, but think of the good ol’ memories you and your husband will have.  Sigh…

One reason why I’m writing this is because we only used Huggies diapers for our kids.  From the time they were newborns to the last pull up they used.  Huggies was and is the brand for us. Do you currently use Huggies?  If you do, I invite you to check out “Huggies Latino Facebook” page to share your own stories about  Huggies for a chance to win a fully-stocked Huggies diaper bag.

Huggies has collaborated with Poncho de Anda and Lina Amashta to put Huggies to the test during life’s stresses and messes.  Check out how Poncho handles work and his adorable son, Dani:

Cute, I know…the baby is not bad, too! (-;
