Britax: Where your little ones are #1! #BritaxLatinaAdvisory {Giveaway}
The millisecond I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I immediately started thinking about baby gear. After the initial OMG moment, I got the holy grail of all pregnancy books: What to expect when you’re expecting.
Come on now… you know you did too! I read that book, cover to cover. It went where ever I went. I followed it word for word! And I thank God that my pregnancy was normal and was going according to the schedule in the book.

Last Thursday and Friday I jet stetted across the country to the Britax headquarters in North Carolina. As an ambassador, we got to experience the Britax brand, up close and personal. I was in the midst of car seats, strollers and baby carriers. I was immediately taken back to being a young mother and shopping for baby gear.
As new parents, we dream about how perfect our lives are with our bundle of joy. Strolling carelessly through the parks or meeting up for playgroups. The minute they leave our womb, our kids become our number one priority. We read baby books, follow the latest trends, sterilized, filtered everything that touched their skin, cleaned, wiped, we learned to hoover.
We became mothers.
During our visit, we were able to see firsthand the quality and care that Britax serves its customers through the products they sell. They sell products that keep our most precious cargo safe. And for that, I give Britax, the #1 selling car seat/booster manufacture in the country, my full support. From walking though the plant and seeing a test crash simulation, I was more convinced at the fact that Britax is set apart from the rest to make sure that if we ever ( and I pray none of us do) experience a car crash, our kids will be the least impacted.
I walked out of the headquarters more informed, educated and scared as HECK! I wanted to call my husband to tell him to go NO WHERE with the kids until I get them into a Britax booster! All in all, we had a fantastic time. The Britax team is an amazing group and I can’t wait to bring you more info regarding car seats, strollers, boosters and some pretty cool accessories.
I invite you to follow Britax on Facebook and Twitter!
So, first on the agenda today is a really sweet Sweepstakes that Britax is hosting on their page.

Second on the agenda is the new movie that is soon to hit theaters May 18, What to Expect When You’re Expecting! Have you seen the trailer? Check it out:
Synopsis:
Inspired by the perennial New York Times bestseller of the same name, WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING is a hilarious and heartfelt big screen comedy about five couples whose intertwined lives are turned upside down by the challenges of impending parenthood. Over the moon about starting a family, TV fitness guru Jules and dance show star Evan find that their high-octane celebrity lives don’t stand a chance against the surprise demands of pregnancy. Baby-crazy author and advocate Wendy gets a taste of her own militant mommy advice when pregnancy hormones ravage her body; while Wendy’s husband, Gary, struggles not to be outdone by his competitive alpha-Dad, who’s expecting twins with his much younger trophy wife, Skyler. Photographer Holly is prepared to travel the globe to adopt a child, but her husband Alex isn’t so sure, and tries to quiet his panic by attending a “dudes” support group, where new fathers get to tell it like it really is. And rival food truck chefs Rosie and Marco’s surprise hook-up results in an unexpected quandary: what to do when your first child comes before your first date?
This looks to be a hilarious movie about the trial and errors that we all learn during our pregnancies. The baby gear that the stars will be using (like in the Dude’s Group shot) is exclusively Britax gear. I am fortunate enough to have seen these strollers and baby carriers up close and I can’t wait to see it, how about you? I have a giveaway for 2 tickets to see What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
